Ok here's the assessment from a Cars fan from 1978...and a keyboard player from a band that primarily played a bunch of Cars tunes: Speechless. Okay, I have to say something. They are total professionals, highly engaged with the audience, and excellent musicians. Everything was clear as a bell and all musicians fit the parts together perfectly. The keyboard parts were spot on, the guitar work was excellent, the vocals were great and the drumming was powerful. Met a few of the guys after and talked at length. Nice as could be and humble to the core. GREAT SHOW The Side Cars Band “A Tribute to The Cars" The venue was the Collective Encore. Food, service, and atmosphere were great.

Their intentions are to promote the legacy of The Cars by paying tribute through the highest quality performance of the hits and deep tracks to audiences near and far. Their number one goal is to preserve the legacy of The Cars by celebrating their catalog of music with everyone. The Side Cars Band emulates the look, style, and sound that led The Cars to the the top of the billboard charts, selling millions of records throughout their career, and pioneering new wave and power pop, and Music Video during the early years of MTV, and ultimately being inducted into the Rock-N-Roll Hall of fame.
